Sunken Treasure

by Seb Warren

/

lyrics

Red light greets the day
When ships and sand part ways
And all that really shines
Slowly floats away

An ocean fills the void
Its beauty left ashore
As promises and tears
Sink to the salty floor

I’ll build a crow’s nest
And you build a wall
For all my pigeons to fall
I’ll build a lighthouse
That draws from the Sun
But I know that day won’t come

A sunken wreck, it waits
For time to lift the pain
No man can see her
In the light of day again
